•It is located in Santa Maria degli Angeli, 4 km far from Assisi historic centre, inside an old palace which is Unesco Patrimony. There is a public parking area in Piazza Innocenzo III (it is on ground floor and has asphalt paving) behind the palace, where there is a reserved place for disabled people’s car. The path from the parking area to the Museum entrance is 100 mt. long. The square has stone paving and has 2-3 cm high steps. The ticket office is on ground floor, the Museum is on first floor. The second floor is used for temporary exibitions.l People on wheelchair can join the 2 floors by 2 escalators: the first has a 72 cm wide and a 80 cm deep footboard; the second has a 70 cm wide and a 75 cm deep footboard. On the second floor there is a toilet but it is not accessible to people on wheelchair, the internal space is very narrow, the doorway between the bowl and the wall is 80 cm large.

•The palace, which is today a Unesco Patrimony, is located in the area around the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, which was builded in the second half of XVI century, upon the oldest Franciscan church named “la Porziuncola”. In the origins, in facts, the name of the square was just “Porziuncola”( today it is “Piazza Garibaldi”) . Here, from the half of the XIII century, ,every 2nd August of the year there was a pilgrimage to celebrate the Festa del Perdono ( the forgiving that San Francis had in the place where he decided to found the Order of “Frati Minori”). The museum - having an its own specificity as institution created for single artists works - hosts 50 important works of the artist Pericle Fazzini. Furthermore, it is enriched by a selection of drawings, and a series of pictures and documents which attest Fazzini’s life and some aspects of the culture of XX Century. It is also in evidence the background where the museum has its origins and the relationship that Fazzini had with Assisi and the figure of San Francis, as attested by the wooden work “S. Francesco parla e accarezza il lupo”, 1939, and by the layout for the bronze monument to S. Francesco, 1981 and by other minor works.
